The owner of Millie’s Bed & Breakfast, Miriam Busby contacted us after admiring the Tui we made for Forest and Bird HQ in Wellington.

Miriam commissioned Izzat to make a cat sculpture, for the top of her letterbox in Holloway Road, Wellington. The cats name is Millie, whom the Bed & Breakfast was named. Millie now resides in effigy and real life, to greet Miriam’s guests as they arrive, and leave her establishment.

As Miriam has anticipated, her letterbox cat is a great advertisement for the public, and draws attention to her lovely house as people walk by.
