'Sky Whale Blue'

Tanya Ashken - Wellington sculptor, approached Izzat to work with her on a sculpture she had originally ‘modeled’ in the 1960’s. Her skills lie in sculpting the form and Izzat contributed with our technical expertise with materials and processes.

The sculpture finished in fiberglass, and mounted on a semi flexible Pultruded fiberglass pole, looks amazing. The four-meter mounting pole enables the sculpture to sway in the wind, creating a very dynamic sculpture.

Sky Whale Blue, was exhibited in the Auckland Botanical Gardens sculpture walk in January 2008. Sky Whale Blue, is currently set up in the front of Tanya’s garden in Island Bay, Wellington.
