'television commercial'

We have been familiar with Grant Major’s work for years. He is a big name in New Zealand and abroad, having won many awards for his art direction and production design. Therefore, when he came to Izzat with some designs for props for a television commercial we were both honoured and thrilled.

The Kellogg’s Nutrigrain mountain bike was one of those props. In accordance with the brief, the bike had to look like it was made predominately from bone yet retain its integrity as a functional bicycle. We started with an existing mountain bike, and after manipulating the frame to suit our purpose, we proceeded to add a bonelike structure to the various components. The transformation from an off the shelf bike to the Nutri-grain bone crushing machine was incredible.

Overall, a fun and enjoyable project for us, and a great commercial for Kelloggs.
